TechnoMarine Watches are relatively new to the world of luxury watches as compared to its older competitors. While they are not that expensive as, say a Rolex or a Patek Phillipe, they can still very well look dressy but without removing the sporty feel. TechnoMarine Watches have been created to be noticed and are known for their vibrant designs.
t all started back in the late 1997, when they launched the very first TechnoMarine Raft, a stainless steel chronograph with a plastic band in St Tropez. The design and quality fascinated a lot of watch enthusiasts and on the first year of production, the company sold around 50,000 pieces. Now, the brand comes with another model that stands out from the crowd, namely the BlackWatch.
The ergonomic case of the watch has obviously been inspired by a submarine. It is crafted from black PVD 316L steel and measures 53mm in diameter. The crown of the watch immediately catches attention, as it is protected by a big bridge. You will also notice extra screws on each side of the bezel. As a result, the timepiece boasts 200-meter water-resistance.
Besides hours, minutes, and seconds, the TechnoMarine watch, equipped with an ETA 7750 Swiss automatic movement or ETA 251.272 Swiss quartz movement, provides the date and chronograph functions.
The automatic and quartz versions of the TechnoMarine BlackWatch feature slightly different designs. The automatic model has a black dial and a crown positioned at 9 o’clock, while the quartz version has a blue or black dial and a crown at 3 o’clock.
The dial of the timepiece is completed with applique hour-markers and big-sized numerals provided with Superluminova coating for perfect readability in reduced light conditions. The face of the watch is shielded by anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The 10-hour, 30-minute and small seconds counters are located at 2, 10 and 6 o’clock respectively. The date window is found at 4 o’clock.
